Yustitia Arief (Indonesia)

Yustitia Arief is the chair at AUDISI (Advocacy for Disability Inclusion), country director for Liliane Fonds for Children with Disabilities, and is a certified trainer on disability.

AUDISI is a disabled people’s organization which stands for advocacy for disability inclusive development. Its mission is to socialize the CRPD and law on disability that was passed in March, 2016. It also monitors implementation of the rights of persons with disability.

Yustitia has extensive experience in the disability field with advocacy and lobbying various levels of national government and business sectors on disability; training on accessible election processes for KPU and Bawaslu; monitoring accessible elections at the ASEAN countries and national elections; representing Indonesian DPOs at the 6th ASEAN Ministerial meeting on Disaster Risk Reduction in Bangkok and Japan; and has worked alongside the ASEAN Commission on Human Rights. Additionally, Yustitia brings a background in communications and media serving as a translator as well as a news anchor/journalist for Indosiar Visual Mandiri.

Yustitia holds a Bachelors degree in International Law from Pancasila University, and has studiedOrganizational Leadership and Management Practices for DPOs at Sydney University. Yustitia lives in Indonesia.
