Sandra Katz (Latin America & Caribbean)

Sandra Lea Katz is a lecturer in Physical Education (UNLP) (1988). She has a degree in Psychology and a diploma in social and political management of disability and a Master in Integration of Persons with Disability from the University of Salamanca and is currently reading for her Phd in Social Sciences.

She is Adjunct Didactive Lecturer on the integration of Physical Education at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata. She is also seminar lecturer of the “Educación, arte y discapacidad. Un enfoque interdisciplinario” at the Facultad de Bellas Artes.

Sandra is coordinator of the University Disability Commission at UNLP and was previously coordinator of the Inter-university Commission on Disability and Human Rights (2008-2010). Sandra was also part of the executive committee (2014-2016).

She is currently coordinator of the Latin American and Caribbean University Network on Disability and Human Rights.

Sandra regularly coordinates research projects focused on disability.
