Madezha Cépeda Bazán has a degree in Education from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, a diploma in Gender Studies (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú) and a Masters in Integration of Persons with Disabilities from the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain. She has done courses, workshops and participated in congresses in Peru, Spain, Uruguay, Mexico, India and Colombia. She is also recipient of a scholarship from Ford Foundation and is ex-alumni of Mobility International USA (MIUSA).
Madezha is an advisor on Disability and Inclusive Development for CBM as well as consultant on the theme of inclusive education. She is also president of the association of disabled women ‘Musas Inspiradoras de Cambio’ and advisor to the Special Commission on Disability for the Congress of the Republic of Peru. Madezha holds numerous consultancy posts, including on Inclusive education for PROPOLI and DIGEBE at the Ministry of Education. She is also president of the Centre for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CEMPDIS).
Madezha is also advisor, assessor and convenor on disability with experience in Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Paraguay, El Salvador, and the US.
