Manuel Aramayo (Venezuela)

Manuel holds a PhD in Psychology (UCV), a postdoctoral in Disability Studies (UK), an MA in Psychology of Mental Health (UK); an MSc in Human Development (UCV) and a degree in Clinical Psychology (UCV). He is retired professor at the Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV), associate professor at the Universidad Ecológica Nacional de Santa Cruz, Bolivia researcher at the Universidad Monteávila de Caracas. Manuel has published extensively and is author of numerous books including: ‘La Persona con síndrome de Down: Hechos, mitos, problemas, sugerencias’; ‘La Persona con discapacidades y su familia: Una evaluación cualitativa’; ‘La Discapacidad: Construcción de un modelo teórico Venezolano’; ‘Universidad y Diversidad; Hablemos de la Diversidad en la Discapacidad’; ‘Investigaciones Venezolanas; La Investigación en Discapacidad en Venezuela’; ‘Primeros Aportes del siglo XXI y el Modelo Social de la Discapacidad’ and ‘Investigaciones venezolanas sobre Trastornos del Espectro Autista’ among others.
