Rojanet Ty (Cambodia)

Rojanet Ty is Senior Officer is Program Manager at the Cambodian Disabled People’s Organization (CDPO). She joined the organisation at the end of 2012 as Senior Officer on the Awareness Raising and Communications Program. She was promoted to Program Manager in early 2015 to provide day-to- day management and leadership to programs staff working on the Advocacy and Right Monitoring program, the Awareness Raising and Communications program, and the DPO Development program and Radio program. Her role is to respond to disability issues throughout Cambodia. She is acting as Trainer on disability rights and forming partnerships on communication activities with other relevant stakeholders including government ministries, UN agencies, INGOs, NGOs, and DPOs at national and sub-national level. She has been involved in operations and management, including communication management, event management, project management and fundraising with major multilateral non-government organizations and companies since 2002. She has a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science & Engineering and a Masters Degree in Development Management. Her dream is to see a society with no barriers and discrimination against diverse disability groups.
