Become a member organisation

Global Disability Watch is powered by the diversity and expertise of its partners and member organisations. These include national and international Disability Organisations, Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs), Development and Humanitarian Organisations and others. Whether your organisation works with persons with disabilities or is more generally focused on health, education, poverty reduction, advocacy, gender issues or human rights (among others), what member organisations share is a common interest in inclusive development for all and the protection and promotion of the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.

Registering your organisation as a member offers opportunities to:

  • Have access to up to date field, policy and practice information
  • Network and promote your own work
  • Access information that helps your own practice
  • Link up with other organisations on collaborative projects

Applying for membership

Registration is free. You may register your organisation for membership by downloading, filling in the form below and returning it to GDW.

We welcome applications from registered national and international organisations, associations as well as networks who are involved in and promote human rights and inclusive work and practices and which share the ethos and values of Global Disability Watch.

Applying for membership does not guarantee automatic acceptance. All applications will be diligently reviewed and processed by the TCI board and a response will be relayed to applicants within a 6 month window following the date of application. We currently only accept applications from registered organisations (i.e. are registered with a national authority, have a registration number, statute etc.). We do not accept requests for membership by individuals.
