Liz acts as the webmaster of Global Disability Watch having developed the site for the organisation. Disability issues are close to her heart; Liz grew up in a household with two members of her family severely disabled. Liz started out in web design, content and strategy in the early 2000s. With a background in journalism, editorial, content creation and also the technical side of websites, Liz straddles technology and the user, front-end experience of web design. Liz has a degree in languages and politics (Bath, UK), a post-grad in journalism (City, London) and a Masters with distinction in Digital Media (Sussex). In her free time, she runs several blogs including a destination site on Malta, a food blog and another aimed at helping women solopreneurs in particular learn the business and technical side of WordPress.
