Plan International (2013) Include us!: A study of disability among Plan International’s sponsored children. This 2013 study across 30 countries found that children with disabilities were on average 10 times less likely to go to school than children without disabilities.

Plan International (2013) Listen Up! Children with disabilities speak out (video, 3:44 mins): Children with disabilities are one of the most marginalised and excluded groups of children across the world: compared to children living without disabilities, children with disabilities are less likely to go to school, more likely to be victims of violence, more likely to have poorer health, and more likely to be discriminated against and isolated from their communities.
